I ran into a stranger as he passed by,“Oh excuse me please” was my reply.He said, “Please excuse me too;I wasn’t watching for you.”
We were very polite, this stranger and I.We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told,How we treat our loved ones, young and old. Later that day, cooking the evening meal,My son stood beside me very still. When I turned, I nearly knocked him down. “Move out of the way,” I said with a frown.He walked away, his little heart broken. I didn’t realize how harshly I’d spoken. While I lay awake in bed,God’s still small voice came to me and said,“While dealing with a stranger,common courtesy you use,but the family you love, you seem to abuse.Go and look on the kitchen floor,You’ll find some flowers there by the door.Those are the flowers he brought for you.He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.”By this time, I felt very small,And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;“Wake up, little one, wake up,” I said.“Are these the flowers you picked for me?”He smiled, “I found ‘em, out by the tree.I picked ‘em because they’re pretty like you.I knew you’d like ‘em, especially the blue.”I said, “Son, I’m very sorry for the way I acted today;I shouldn’t have yelled at you that way.”He said, “Oh, Mom, that’s okay.I love you anyway.”
I said, “Son, I love you too,and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.”

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company

But the family we left behind will feel the loss

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves moreinto work than into our own family,an unwise investment indeed,don’t you think?

:) so i was asked to make a logo for promoting birth...
its hard cuz i hav not much ideas to begin with...
and then... its also difficult cuz i'm not that good at drawing...
so... i tried to decline... but apparently... this lady( my father's friend...) ... so called" forced" me to do it... ( by talking to me ?)...
whatevas... so i'm stuck here... trying the internet out... to fish for ideas:)
yeah... so copy, huh... but heh... i'll try to modify it:) i dunwan to get sued for copyright or whatsoever:) zzz
so i spent the whole afternoon watching anime( rurouni kenshin) and whatched till episode 56:) lolsZ... me ... an anime fanatic? haha>
but i did some work today... i finished a book review on a chinese book:)
so... i didnt totally slack or zone out:)

anyway... juz a short and quick update on how i've been , considering that i havent blogged for a while...

So... LIfe's pretty normal ( and slacK due to my severe proscratinations when it comes to studying...)
Learning some manga tutorials now... hope that it would hlp my not-so-nice manga drawing...
and basically, i'm juz slacking>....what a GREAT slacker i am...
And... i can't wait to see the twilight movie that is coming out on 18th dec 2008...
Another thing, its PG 13! ( gives a whoops of joy) ...
it would be too bad if it was not PG... but NC 16...
-hav been really mapling too much these days.... although its kinda boring cuz its all abt endless hack and slash...
- and... i finished 2 maths paper + the 3rd maths paper half done...
which still leaves me 3 eng ORCAS... and some( i mean ALOT) of chinese hmwk to complete by end of this month....
- my sch's band( which i'm in) is selling concert tickets and singapore conference hall...
If any of u can make it or hav the interest to go( and it costs 10 dollars), tell me and i wld gladly sell them to u...:)
- and reading once again! SOMe books i recommend are : "One child" and " beautiful child" by Torey Hayden... " the dream merchant" by ( i forgot who)...
and lots more... juz that i cant rmb the names, so i would not write it down...( or type it...)...
